Lucifer, A Paralyzed Cat Who Helps Others
When we hear Lucifer we associate it with the dark, the supernatural and something evil. However, these qualities have nothing to do with the character in our story today. Calling himself Lucifer, beyond being bad, he is wholehearted and dedicates his life to helping others.
If you’re curious, be sure to read this story about a black cat named Lucifer. Life played a trick on the feline, but he knew how to bring out the positive. Despite being an animal, he applied that of “if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Lucifer and his accident
Lucifer has lived in a veterinary clinic since he was found by its workers. When they found him, he could not walk, as they had crushed him with a door causing a great injury to his spine.
Although he was able to be treated and survived, the injury was very serious and its aftermath did not allow him to move his back legs.
However, his will to live makes him a pleasant animal with everyone. Whether it’s people or animals, this has helped him get a job at the clinic.
Lucifer and his work at the clinic
This kitten never regretted his fate, despite being paralyzed. They got him a wheelchair for cats and soon he was walking through the corridors of the clinic greeting the other patients who were there.
It didn’t take long for the clinic workers to realize that Lucifer was cheering up the other sick animals. It even had a very positive influence on her mood, which led to a speedy recovery.
Therefore, Lucifer now had a job at the clinic. He would be a collaborator who would help the most disadvantaged to fight for their lives regardless of whether they were crippled like him or with other types of consequences.
To achieve this, he approaches their cages to see the reaction of the animal (sometimes cats and dogs do not get along and Lucifer knows it), and when a special connection is created, the cage is opened and the feline is allowed to enter and stay with them for short periods.
He lies down next to him, caresses them with his paws and tries to play with them, something to which the others respond as far as their strength allows. All this raises the spirits of the animals and their recovery is accelerated.
For those who unfortunately have no cure, at least Lucifer gives them the best last moments of his life.
Lucifer is moonlighting
Who says that having a disability is an impediment to having a job? Lucifer has two! Yes, and it is that in addition to taking care of others, encouraging them and instilling their will to live, Lucifer is the marketing image of the clinic.
She has posed as a model for several campaigns and these have been a success. There are very funny images in which he contradicts himself in his modesty.
We explain. On a website they faked a kind of interview in which they asked him if he felt special to which he replied:
“No, I am not a star. I’m just a cat, although sometimes I feel like a human. I just want to thank the clinic for this opportunity to live and to be able to help animals in need ”.
This response was accompanied by a photo of Lucifer sitting out.
However, after that photo came a comment with another photo in which Lucifer had a toy crown and said:
“Okay, I admit it, sometimes I wear a crown and I like it …”.
His sense of humor is unique. And in addition to instilling a zest for life in other animals, there is no doubt that this beautiful black kitten has a lot to teach us as well. Without a doubt, her attitude reminds us of “if you cry because you can’t see the sun, the tears won’t let you see the stars”.
Thank you Lucifer for your important and valuable life lessons.
