Her first puppy bought was Pipo, a black pincher that Chelo adores. Why then did you decide to adopt another dog?

According to her own account, she wanted a bigger pet than Pipo and she had already planned to go to a shelter to see which ones there were to adopt. Being against buying dogs just to have a purebred dog, according to her, that is silly, because any canine, even without being a purebred, can be perfect for anyone.

However, before he had time to go to the shelter, he saw news that shocked him. A dog that had been crashed into a fence of the municipal kennel near the place where Chelo lives. The dog survived, but the harshness with which he was treated went viral on social networks.

Chelo couldn’t resist and she and her daughter soon began the paperwork by making a call to confirm that adoption was possible. In about 40 days, Mos Krugui was in his new home, a large farm house to which, as we can imagine, he adapted very quickly. And to top it all, he became famous! When people saw Chelo with him on the street, they said “look at the dog on TV.”

Life, the second dog of the godmother of abused dogs

The second adopted dog that came to the home of the abused dog godmother was Life. The story of this animal went viral due to the cruelty with which it was treated. His owner abandoned him on his farm without food, without water and without anyone to watch over him, so when they discovered him, the poor man was in very bad condition.

In fact, the first photo that Chelo saw of him was with a bottle of serum injected into his body trying to hydrate him and bring him back to health.

“I felt powerless, and although I did not know if I would get out of that, I wanted to adopt him and I was waiting to know if he would still be alive. I thought that perhaps the protector would keep it, but curiously my daughter works as a volunteer in that protector, so the procedures were made easier for me ”.

Life felt at home from the first night. Chelo got up several times to see him and he was calm and warm. He certainly knew how to capture the love he was receiving.

Despite the fact that Life is 13 years old, Chelo adores him, has nicknamed him “el jubielta” and takes care of him with special feed and high quality veterinary attention.

What does the godmother of abused dogs think about abuse?

Chelo believes that whoever is responsible for having an animal should take care of it and have it as one of the family. He is happy that many of the laws against abuse have been toughened, although in his opinion they should be even tougher.

Many people judge her for having adopted abused dogs arguing that she “gets into trouble”, but she assures that abused dogs are affectionate, grateful and loyal, that they have helped her in her problems, her stress and many other situations that she has or has. had in life.

Although her experience adopting abused dogs has been very positive, she assures that she will not become a fanatic, and that 3 is enough. He says that he will help in any way he can and that when one of his three dies, something that unfortunately will happen, he will adopt another.
